COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- After three early departures to the NFL, the first Buckeye underclassman with pro prospects announced he'll be returning to Ohio State for his senior season.

H-back and wide receiver Parris Campbell said he'll stick around for his final year of eligibility ahead of Monday's deadline for players to declare for the NFL Draft.

The Akron native lead the Buckeyes in receiving yards (584) on 40 receptions, three of which went for touchdowns. He also had 10 carries for 132 yards and a touchdown. Campbell also led OSU in kick returns with a 36.6 yard average and ranked second in all purpose yards, trailing only leading rusher J.K. Dobbins.

So far, cornerback Denzel Ward, defensive lineman Sam Hubbard, and linebacker Jerome Baker have all said they're leaving early for the NFL.
