The Columbus Crew announced Thursday, just two days before the MLS Cup, that Darlington Nagbe and Pedro Santos are out for Saturday's matchup with the Seattle Sounders.
Midfielders Nagbe and Santos and defender Vito Wormgoor were listed by the Crew as being "medically not cleared to play."
Santos has started 22 matches for the Crew this season and has scored six goals while providing eight assists. He has scored two goals during the playoffs.
Nagbe has played in 15 matches while making 14 starts. He has one goal and an assist. His lone goal of the year was named the MLS Goal of the Year.
Wormgoor played in just two games before suffering an injury.
The Crew is set to host Seattle Saturday in the MLS Cup. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m on FOX 28.
