As doctors around the world work tirelessly on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Columbus Crew is thanking them for their work.

The Crew released a video Monday thanking doctors on National Doctors Day.

The video features Crew President and General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer Steve Lyons and head coach Caleb Porter.

The Crew, along with the rest of Major League Soccer, is waiting for word on when they can return to practicing and playing.

The league extended its team training moratorium through at least April 3 due to the coronavirus outbreak. MLS facilities remain closed to all players and staff with the exception of players requiring medical treatment or rehab.

The league announced on March 19 that it is targeting a May 10 return to play and will consider pushing back its championship game by a month, which would put it in December.
