Columbus Crew celebrates Black & Gold Friday ahead of MLS Cup

The city of Columbus was lit up in Black and Gold Friday night as the Columbus Crew and its supporters prepared for the MLS Cup.

Signs of Black and Gold could be seen throughout the city Friday ahead of the championship match as part of the Light Up Columbus initiative.

Friday afternoon, the club held a Zoom call with Black and Gold supporters and Friday night, the Nordecke led a car parade that started at MAPFRE Stadium and ended in the Arena District.

The Crew will host the Seattle Sounders Saturday night in the MLS Cup Final.

Columbus will be playing without star midfielders Darlington Nagbe and Pedro Santos.

The match is set to kickoff at 8:30 p.m. on FOX 28.
