A new era begins for Columbus Crew SC

New owners, new team management, and a new head coach have marked the beginning of a new era for Columbus Crew SC.

The team is officially ushering in a new era of soccer in Columbus Wednesday. During the noon event, team owners and operators Dee Haslam, JW Johnson and Pete Edwards are expected to share their direction for the team.

New team president Tim Bezbatchenko and head coach Caleb Porter will be formally introduced. Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber, Columbus Mayor Andrew J. Ginther and Columbus Partnership President and CEO Alex Fischer will also be in attendance.
