The CBJ is opening their pre-season against the Buffalo Sabres Tuesday night at 7:00. The team had four scrimmages over three days after days of practices and workouts.

Joonas Korpisalo. who was the team's backup the past four years, is expected to start in the net after the departure of Sergei Bobrovsky. The Blue Jackets say several young players are expected to be on the ice as head coach John Tortorella looks to select the 23-man roster for their season opener against the Maple Leafs on October 4.

The puck drops at 7:00 PM, and the game will be livestreamed on BlueJackets.com, on the FOX Sports Go app, and will air on 97.1 The Fan.
