Pizza and beer. Some things are just meant to go together. Now getting dinner and a drink delivered will get easier for many people.

The pizza chain Pizza Hut announced Monday that it is planning to expand its beer delivery program to 1,000 locations by the summer.

Beer delivery will be up and running in nearly 300 locations in Florida, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, California and Arizona by mid-January, according to CNN. Right now, Pizza Hut is the only national pizza chain that delivers beer, offering it at nearly 100 locations.

That initial run appears to be a success for the company as they look to get an edge over the competition.

When it comes to making sure only customers legally able to drink can get the alcohol, Pizza Hut says employees will check ID when the order is delivered. Customers also have to fill out a form for Pizza Hut's records.

The company has not released an exact list of their more than 7,500 locations that will offer the service.
