A group of nurses helped bond an Illinois father out of jail after he broke several traffic laws while rushing his daughter to the hospital.
Darius Hinkle told KTVI that the nurses worked at Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville.
Hinkle admitted that he doesn't have a valid driver's license and was speeding to the hospital on Thursday.
He said his one-year-old daughter was choking on a penny and by the time he arrived at the hospital, he had more than a few police officers behind him.
The girl's mother said when she got to the jail, another woman was there bonding Hinkle out.
That's when she was told that nurses from the hospital where he took his daughter chipped in to pay his bond.
