Stonewall Columbus held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday to celebrate the official grand opening of the newly renovated and expanded community center.

The 15,000 square foot center features several multi-purpose rooms, a gallery, private meeting spaces, and a rooftop deck.

More than $3.8 million were raised for the renovation.

Stonewall Columbus fights for the acceptance and basic human rights for the LGBTQ community.

The group said Columbus is one of the most LGBTQ-friendly cities in the U.S.
