COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) -- School district leaders are in a tough spot with ice forecast to a be a problem after classes start on Friday.

While many have decided to have an early dismissal Friday afternoon, Columbus City Schools (the state's largest district) said classes will go on as scheduled tomorrow. Spokesperson Scott Varner said an early dismissal is possible, but not likely since the district doesn't want to send young kids to an empty home.

Varner added families should have a plan in place though, in case they or other districts decide to dismiss early.
