Four children were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus and another vehicle near Nationwide Children's Hospital Thursday morning.

The crash, involving a Columbus City Schools bus, happened at the intersection of South Ohio Avenue and East Whittier Street. Authorities say all the kids were stable at the time and were being taken to Nationwide Children's, about a mile away from the scene.

Officers say the driver of the car had a traffic warrant for no driver's license and didn't have driving privileges, so he was arrested at the scene.

The car hit the side of the school bus and police say they were looking into whether the driver of the car ran the stop sign. Officers shut down the intersection and were on scene investigating the crash.
