The 2017 Honda CR-V is getting new upgrades, as the company says they completely redesigned and reengineered it.

The SUV, which is built in East Liberty, Ohio, near Bellefontaine is the best-selling SUV in America for the past 20 years according to Honda. The new 2017 models will be in showrooms this winter.

Honda says they gave the SUV new styling with a sharper front-end design, wider fenders, and a new headlight design. They've also added features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the new display audio, a hands-free access power tailgate, and a larger interior with more cargo space.

The new model also has a more powerful turbo engine with fuel efficiency.

Along with East Liberty, the new CR-Vs are made at two other North American plants, in Ontario, Canada, and for the first time in Greensburg, Indiana.
