A massive pileup on a Central Ohio highway injured multiple people and I-71 for more than five hours in Morrow County.
Officials said of the 81 vehicles, approximately 11 tractor trailers were involved in the wreck with several minor injuries reported. A snow squall is believed to have caused white out conditions, contributing to the pileup, an ODOT spokesperson said.
Around 9 p.m., one lane of I-71 northbound re-opened near Ohio Route 95 at mile marker 151. The other two lanes were opened approximately an hour later as all traffic trapped behind the crash was cleared with wreckers on scene moving the vehicles involved in the pileup.
ABC 6/FOX 28 is working to get more details on this developing story.
