With the coronavirus pandemic, a Delaware County sign maker was worried he'd have to lay off his employees. But Tim Moore's non-essential business turned very essential when he was approached about making medical face-shields.

Moore's company, Waterford Signs, has made about 250 units and has seven new orders for more masks.

“This happened to come along and it’s kind of a miracle. So now I’m able to give them some hours and contribute to the problem that’s out there now," said Moore.

Moore said many of the materials he uses to make signs are used to make the masks.

Now, he's teamed up to help supply Delaware County EMS and other agencies.
