Columbus Blue Jackets fans came to Nationwide Arena to see their team make history in winning their first ever playoff series.
Coming into Tuesday’s game, the Blue Jackets had a three to nothing lead over the Tampa Bay Lightning. In the best of seven series, a Jackets win on Tuesday would send the Lightning home.
Fans flocked to Nationwide Arena many ways including on COTA’s CBUS, which offered extended service until midnight on the free service.
“I’d like to sweep them. So, we’ll see where it goes. But we don’t have too much at risk. They’re the ones on their heels,” said one fan.
