COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — More than 600 Columbus City Schools students participated in "Get Real," hosted by Huntington and the CW Columbus, to help them understand what it's like to manage their money after graduation.

Students were assigned a monthly salary based on their grade point average to open a mock Huntington Bank checking account. Students then learned how to pay for housing, taxes, education, transportation, utilities, groceries and other experiences. Students that went into debt had to obtain a mock second job.

Thank you to Huntington and Columbus City Schools for making Get Real 2019 possible!
