Tom Hanks just found out on Sunday that he's related to the man he is portraying in an upcoming movie. Hanks and Fred Rogers are sixth cousins according to Ancestry.com.

Hanks is set to play Mr. Rogers in the upcoming film, "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood."

The movie is set to be released on Friday. The actor said he didn't even know they were related when he took the role.

According to Ancestry.com, the two share a fifth great-grandfather, who immigrated from Germany to America in the 18th century.
