COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson added another milestone to his growing list of accomplishments by becoming the first American man to surpass 200 million Instagram followers.

The actor and action star posted a video to the social media platform with the description:

I’ve surged past and blown by 200 MILLION FOLLOWERS on Instagram and over 300 MILLION FOLLOWERS across all platforms - officially becoming/ The #1 followed man in America. The #1 followed American man in the world. And most importantly, the #1 daddy at home.

In the video, the former WWE star urged his fans to "always speak your truth... even when the conversations get uncomfortable."

The Rock is not (yet) the most followed person on Instagram. That title still belongs to soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo with over 230 million followers followed by Ariana Grande with over 203 million followers.

The surge in followers comes after Johnson publicly endorsed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

"As a registered Independent for years now, with centrist ideologies, I do feel that Vice President Biden and Senator Harris are the best choice to lead our country, and I'm endorsing them to become President and Vice President of our United States," Johnson said on Twitter.
